Cheap Law Schools

Law schools provide a well-rounded education designed to train people to become attorneys.  There are plenty of stories about the potential perils of law schools.  It’s a huge debate on the way legal education has grown. As a general rule, state-run schools provide the lowest tuition to students who reside in the state. A variety of law schools are less expensive than others while still providing a quality education.

Brigham Young University
The Clark College of Law at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, is the least expensive private school with annual tuition at just $9,980 in 2009 for those of the Mormon faith. It is unique in that the school’s ownership, its honor code and its values are all governed by the Mormon faith and the law program emphasizes Mormon values. It is a top-ranked school with small class sizes. The school charges $19,960 for those not of the Mormon faith, as of 2009, making it still less expensive than nearly all of its peer-ranked schools.
